DiepCFoundation talks with Breast Cancer Patients
Hear personal stories of survivors explaining both implant and tissue flap reconstruction choices they made in these educational videos. Patients will also describe how they found their plastic surgeon. You will hear from those who had nipple and areola tattoos, are male breast cancer survivors, and those with metastatic breast cancer.
The Personal Stories include women who chose prophylactic breast reconstruction to minimize their risk of getting breast cancer. These are women who have a gene mutation placing them at higher risk for breast cancer.
There are interviews with patient advocates and how their breast cancer diagnosis lead them to their work in advocacy.
